✨ The Invitation

You love Jesus.
You want to grow.
But something feels off.

You’ve tried sermons, podcasts, devotionals, conferences…
and yet:

  • Scripture feels like fragments
  • discipleship feels like pressure
  • conversations about faith feel forced
  • your spiritual life feels thin, tired, or tangled

You’re informed — but not formed.
Hungry — but not nourished.
Longing — but not accompanied.

And beneath all of that is a deeper truth you’ve been afraid to say out loud:

If you’re honest, you feel the fog.
The ache you can’t name.
The longing you can’t shake.
The confusion you can’t resolve.
The hunger you can’t satisfy.
The story you can’t see.
The Gospel you can’t articulate.
The life you want but can’t reach.

What you have tried feels like a weak shadow of what Jesus intended — and you sense there must be a more integrated, more Jesus‑shaped way to live.

If that’s you, you’re not alone.
You’re not failing.
You’re waking up.

📦THE PATH

A journey into a new way of seeing — learning to see the story beneath every story.

1. WAKE UP TO THE STORY YOU’RE ALREADY IN

You begin by recognizing the ache — the sense that your faith is fragmented, that something is missing, that you were made for more than religious performance. You were made for a deeper, more coherent life with God.

This is where the fog begins to lift.

2. SEE HOW THE STORY WORKS

You learn the narrative patterns that shape Scripture, film, culture, and the human heart — the patterns you’ve seen in every story and felt your whole life but never had language for.
This is where Scripture becomes a unified, living narrative instead of disconnected verses.

3. DISCERN THE STORY BENEATH EVERY STORY

You learn to let Scripture and cultural stories speak to one another — revealing the same ache, the same longing, the same human condition, and the same invitation.
This is where you begin to see Christ everywhere — and start engaging it the way Jesus did.

4. LIVE AND SHARE THE STORY WITH POWER

You learn to embody the story of Christ in your relationships, your home, your work, and your community — and to communicate it in a way that resonates deeply and transforms lives.
Not through pressure. Not through performance. But through presence, imagination, and embodied love.

🎬 THE CINEMATIC THREAD — WHERE THE STORY LENS COMES ALIVE

Story isn’t something we study — it’s something we learn to see. And film becomes one of the clearest places where the ache, the longing, and the invitation of the human story rise to the surface.

Throughout the year, we let Scripture and film sit in conversation, revealing the same ache for identity, the same longing for redemption, the same call to become who we were made to be.

Using the Story Lens, we explore how story awakens the heart — including a guided journey through the films of Brad Bird, whose characters move from hidden potential to sacrificial love to embodied vocation. Not as entertainment. Not as analysis. But as practice — learning to see the story beneath every story, the story Christ is inviting you to live.

I’m the person who needed this twenty years ago.
The pastor who saw the institution as crippling.
The theology graduate who felt spiritually foggy.
The believer who loved Jesus but felt trapped by the institutional church.

I defended the system. I pastored it. I championed it.
I was a cog in the machine.

But seeing the story — really seeing the story — freed me.

I discovered:

  • the Gospel as a unified, living narrative
  • the Jesus who says, “Come to me, and I will give you rest”
  • the church as a community of equals, not a hierarchy
  • a way of engaging culture with wisdom, not fear
  • a way of living that feels like peace, not pressure
  • a way of following Jesus that actually looks like Jesus
  • A story that looks so different than the one i was promoting.

I walked through the thicket so you don’t have to.
I found clarity, coherence, and rest — and now I guide others into the same.

This community is the fruit of that journey.

THE TRANSFORMATION

By the end of the year, you will:

  • see Scripture as a unified, living narrative
  • learn a repeatable framework for interpreting Scripture and film
  • trace the pattern of human rebellion — and God’s relentless pursuit
  • explore the Gospel arc as the center of everything
  • discern the story beneath every story — biblical, cultural, personal
  • learn to live the story in your real relationships

You become a story‑shaped disciple who can guide others into the story of God with clarity, compassion, and courage.
